Beethoven, Kenji Bunch and Mieczysław Weinberg made up the Telegraph Quartet’s program for Naumburg Looks Back on April 17, 2025. The ensemble won the Foundation’s Chamber Music Award in 2016.
Beethoven’s Harp Quartet, Op. 74, opened the program, followed by Bunch’s String Quartet No. 2, Concussion Theory. After intermission came Weinberg’s String Quartet No. 6 in E minor, Op. 35.
The players were violinists Eric Chin and Joseph Maile, violist Pei-Ling Lin and cellist Jeremiah Shaw. Their appearance was part of a series returning to Naumburg artists and commissions from earlier seasons.
