Jonathan Swensen introduced Paul Wiancko’s Suite No. 1 for Solo Cello at Weill Recital Hall on November 4, 2025. Naumburg presented the Carnegie Hall recital, which featured the commissioned work’s world premiere.
Swensen shared first prize in the 2024 Naumburg International Cello Competition with Leland Ko. Ko followed him to the same hall on December 11 with a different premiere, Lei Liang’s A Kite Over the Grassland.
