Bad weather sent the July 21, 2026, Naumburg Orchestral Concerts performance indoors, to the Church of St. Mary the Virgin on West 46th Street. Mezzo-soprano Erin Wagner, the Foundation’s 2021 Vocal Award winner, joined the Orchestra of St. Luke’s and conductor Brad Lubman for an all-Mozart program.

Wagner’s selections included “Voi che sapete” and “Porgi amor” from Le nozze di Figaro, as well as an aria from Idomeneo. The orchestral program ranged from the D-major Divertimento, K. 136, to Eine kleine Nachtmusik, with the Adagio and Fugue in C minor and Symphony No. 21 also listed.

The concert belonged to the Naumburg Orchestral Concerts series, which has presented public concerts since 1905. WQXR’s Terrance McKnight was the host.
