Violinist Shannon Lee has appeared with the Tokyo Symphony, Antwerp Symphony, Belgian National Orchestra, Dallas Symphony, and New York String Orchestra. Born in Canada, she began violin studies in Texas with Jan Mark Sloman. She studied at Curtis, the Cleveland Institute of Music, and the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, and earned a computer science degree at Columbia University. Her competition honors include second place at Naumburg and fourth prize at the Queen Elisabeth Competition.
