Pianist Miryo Park received second prize at the 1979 Walter W. Naumburg International Piano Competition. Her career has included performances in the United States, Europe, and Asia. In 1981 she made her New York debut at Town Hall, substituting for Rosalyn Tureck. Her subsequent appearances included recitals at Boston's Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and performances of Prokofiev and Rachmaninoff concertos with Korean orchestras.
