Cellist Alexander Hersh made his Carnegie Hall recital debut in 2022 and has appeared as a soloist with the Houston Symphony, Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, and Boston Pops. He received bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the New England Conservatory and pursued further studies in Berlin. An active chamber musician, he is co-artistic director of NEXUS Chamber Music and a prizewinner at the Naumburg and Pro Musicis competitions.
