Wild Angels of the Open Hillsは、Ursula Le Guinの詩に曲を付けた「5つの歌曲からなる連作」です。
- Wild Angels of the Open Hills
- Angels of the Shadowed Ancient Land
- There
- Coming of Age
- The Hawk Shapes the Wind
Joseph Schwantner
Wild Angels of the Open Hillsは、1977年6月から10月に作曲され、その多くは8月にMacDowell Colonyで完成しました。
