Jonathan Swensen

大提琴新星 Jonathan Swensen 是2022年 Avery Fisher Career Grant 得主，最近获 Musical America 评为“New Artist of the Month”，并入选 Gramophone Magazine 的“One to Watch”。Jonathan 六岁时听到 Elgar 的 Concerto，第一次爱上大提琴，最终正是以这首作品，与葡萄牙 Orquestra Sinfónica do Porto Casa da Música 合作完成协奏曲首演。

2022年9月，Jonathan 由 Champs Hill Records 发行首张录音“Fantasia”，收录大提琴独奏作品。发行后获 Gramophone、BBC Music 和 The Strad 等媒体热烈好评，The Strad 写道：“一位令人振奋的年轻才华崭露头角。仅凭这张动人的名片，我就愿意买票去听 Swensen 演出。”Gramophone Magazine 也形容他为“具有诸多面貌的大提琴演奏家：力量、激情、脆弱、美感与色彩”。

Jonathan 曾与 Philharmonia Orchestra、Orquesta Ciudad de Granada、Copenhagen Philharmonic、Aarhus Symphony Orchestra、Odense Symphony Orchestra、Iceland Symphony Orchestra、Mobile Symphony 和 Greenville Symphony 等乐团合作。他在 Kennedy Center 的 Terrace Theater 及纽约 Merkin Concert Hall 的独奏会首演广受好评，还曾在 Boston 的 Jordan Hall、Morgan Library and Museum 及 Krannert Center 的 Foellinger Great Hall 演出。

除众多独奏演出外，Jonathan 也经常在美国及欧洲演奏室内乐，曾亮相 Tivoli Festival、Copenhagen Summer Festival、Chamberfest Cleveland、Krzyżowa-Music、San Francisco Conservatory of Music、Vancouver Recital Society、San Francisco Performances 和 Usedomer Musikfestival 等活动及机构。

Jonathan 将于2024年加入 Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center 的 Bowers Program，也将以“Artist in Residence”身份加入 Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel，随 Gary Hoffman 学习。他获得2019年 Windsor International String Competition、2018年 Khachaturian International Cello Competition 和2018年 Young Concert Artists International Auditions 的一等奖。Jonathan 毕业于 Royal Danish Academy of Music，随后在 Oslo 的 Norwegian Academy of Music 随 Torleif Thedéen 深造，并在 New England Conservatory 随 Laurence Lesser 学习，于2023年5月取得艺术家文凭。
