26세 Jakob Taylor는 최근 Yale School of Music에서 Emerson Quartet 첼리스트 Paul Watkins의 지도로 Masters of Musical Arts 학위를 받았습니다.
New York City에서 태어나 3세에 첼로를 시작했습니다. 솔리스트와 실내악 연주자로 세계를 누비며 Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Woolsey Hall, Bargemusic, Jordan Hall 등에서 연주했습니다.
실내악에 대한 열정으로 Wu Han, Ettore Causa, Ani Kavafian, Steven Tenenbom, Hye-Jin Kim, Matthew Lipman 등의 아티스트와 협업했습니다.
Music@Menlo의 International Program, Four Seasons Spring Workshop, Ravinia Steans Institute, The Taos School of Music 등의 여름 프로그램에서 배우고 연주했습니다.
Rice University Shepherd School of Music에서 Desmond Hoebig의 지도로 음악석사를 받았습니다. New England Conservatory와 The Juilliard School에서도 디플로마를 받았습니다.
Yale University에서 Harvey R. Russel Scholarship과 Irving S. Gilmore Fellowship을 받았으며 가장 최근 그곳에서 Leonard Slatkin의 지휘로 Prokofiev의 Sinfonia Concertante를 연주했습니다.
